Sansa barged into her brother Robb’s apartment with a huff and turn of the key he had given her.

Twin yelps came from the couch and there was rustling while she closed and locked the door behind her.

“Gods, Sansa, don’t you ever knock? What are you doing here?” Robb growled, throwing a blanket over his lap and tugging his shirt back on while Theon scrambled to do the same beside him.

“It’s an emergency,” Sansa said, waving her hand. It wasn’t the first time she’d caught Robb and Theon together and it probably wouldn’t be the last, especially given her penchant for walking into her sibling’s apartments unannounced. It drove them all crazy but no one had taken her keys away yet and she counted that as both a win and as permission to continue.

“What’s the problem?” Theon asked, sighing as he leaned back against the couch.

“He has a girlfriend,” Sansa said, dropping down onto the other couch and moving so she was lying down, glaring at the ceiling like it was at fault for her current predicament.

“Who?” Robb and Theon said in unison.

Sansa threw up her hands. “Who else? Jon.”

I’m trying SO HARD to make men’s outfits for my modern inspired-by-Game of Thrones collection but like... once you distill them into their more modern elements all the guys dress the same? Like I can make a fur coat, a lace-up leather shirt/jacket, and maaaaybe something armor-inspired. But I’ve got more women’s outfit ideas than I know what to do with. Ideas for the guys??

Sansa huffed loudly. “Jon! Open the fucking door!”

Finally she got what she wanted, the door swung open and Jon stood there scowling. “Fuck, Sansa. The entire building and the gods can hear you.”

“Well then you should have opened the door sooner,” Sansa replied, pointing her nose in the air. “You’ve been ignoring me.”

Jon sighed. “I’m sorry, little red. It’s been a long weekend.”

“So long that you couldn’t simply text that you were busy?” Sansa asked, raising a brow and crossing her arms, hoping that the way her heart skipped a beat when he called her little red wasn’t obvious. It was a nickname he’d given her when they were kids because of her hair and it made her feel precious. She loved it a little too much.

Jon brought his hand up to his jaw, scrubbing it through his short beard and making a flash of lust go through her, just like it always did when she focused on his scruff. She desperately wanted to know what it would feel like scraping the inside of her thighs. Sansa forced herself back to the present, ignoring the flutter in her belly at her thoughts. She didn’t have time for that right now, she could fantasize later. Right now she needed to get to the bottom of whatever was going on with Jon.

“It slipped my mind,” Jon murmured, averting his eyes when Sansa looked at him head on.

“It slipped your mind?” Sansa repeated, irritated. However she couldn’t help but notice how pale Jon was, how dark his eyes were. He looked…he looked hungry.

As soon as they got to the party, Sansa felt uneasy.

She was surrounded by Joffery’s friends and while she had expected that, she was used to that, for some reason tonight it was too much. Her tummy fluttered with anxiety and all she wanted was to call someone to come pick her up. She knew she could Robb and he would drop everything to come get her.

But so would Jon.

And if she was being honest, that’s who she needed right now.

They had only hugged a handful of times, but Sansa longed for his strong arms around her. She wanted to bury her face in his neck and breathe in his woodsy scent. She wanted him to murmur soothing sweet nothings into her ear and hold her tightly. It would make everything instantly better.

“What is your problem, Sansa?” Joffery asked suddenly, interrupting the conversation around them. A hush fell over the group— all of whom were Joffery’s friends and not hers. She hadn’t made headway with his friends, they seemed to tolerate her or pretend she didn’t exist— usually the latter.

Sansa was used to having brothers. She’d grown up with three after all, plus a sister. So when her mother got remarried to Ned Stark, she didn’t think it would be any different with his son, Jon. She figured they would get along just fine but keep their distance. Jon was older by a few years and he lived in an apartment in the city unlike Sansa who still lived at home while she finished college. Sansa didn’t anticipate seeing Jon all that much, she barely saw Robb now that he had moved out, why would it be any different with her new stepbrother?

She was wrong.

From the minute they met, there was something between them. Sansa couldn’t make sense of it. She knew that she shouldn’t feel this way about her stepbrother, that the simmering heat in her veins shouldn’t be there when she looked at him, but she couldn’t help it. He was just so handsome. Handsome in a way that she couldn’t really compare with anyone else. Dark, rugged, a wild look in his eyes. There was just something about him that called to her, that made her want to throw away all sense of decency and fall at his feet, beg him to give her an ounce of attention. He was who she thought about at night when her door was locked, her lights off and her hand down her panties, fingers desperately moving against her clit. It made her feel incredibly guilty— not only was he her stepbrother, but she was taken.
