“It wasn't what she thought it was.” sums up Daenerys really well.
I’ve been feeling that for a long time, whenever she made one of her speeches about what she was going to do I was like “yeah girl, things don’t really work that way. people in westeros know fuck all about you! why would they rejoice your conquering?” and Jorah tried to tell her that, many times.
I agree this season could have been better handled and expanded but there’s already too much hating on the fandom for me to add up to it.
