Sands Like An Ocean
The desert was a magnificent place if you were a fugitive. With such vast tracts of empty land, it was easy to drop untraceably from the ledgers of civilization. If one were to come looking for you, it was but a simple task to evade them, hire a third party to eliminate them, or let them burn in the merciless sun. Unless your pursuer was Nautilus. Three weeks he'd been in Shurima, which was four weeks too long for him. Every couple of hours he'd need to stop his hunt in order to shake out the building sand from his metal joints, and every step still would feel gritty and disjointed. It'd take much more than that to stop him, though. Marcelle was his top target, and a tip from a now-sore informant had pointed him to this desolate land. He could be seen for a mile out, maybe two, but he cared little. Unlike the mortal men he pursued, he had no need for rest, and the heat was but an uncomfortable distraction. Nautilus' tracks were deep and heavy in the dunes, and always left a damp imprint. He wasn't surprised then when the hint of water thus brought on some buzzards of his own. Damn raiders. He would have to decide to either turn and deal with them or just out-march then. infinite-xerath
