anyway, it’s probably good that I waited to finish the series until it was over bc omg, if i had watched it live, season 11′s final would have actually killed me. 

so spoilers for a show that’s been over for like four years now.

Zack, my love, why???? Did you take drama lessons from Sirius Black while in the mental hospital!?!?!? How is sitting in the dark in the vault your cannibal master owned while waiting for dr brennan to wake up helpful to any of your plans? You’re trying to prove your innocence, why are you being as sus as possible??

But I keep imagining what it would have been like to live with that cliff hanger. To have to see everyone thinking my boy was the puppeteer? Not that serial killer Zack aus aren’t great (and seriously underappreciated. like, i’m considering writing one myself now), but my boy!!! I would have died waiting for season 12, i would have wanted to know everything. I love this twist so much; not as good as the zack as the apprentice twist, but the foreshadowing was so good! bc pretty much everyone has forgotten about zack by season 11, but all the clues pointed to him.

Hell, it even made me ship zack and brennan a little, in a creepy “only for the drama” way. It’s weird that this was the first time I noticed that they only have a 5 year age difference in canon. 

I just wish zack was more present in season 12 :(   best boy, i missed him so much. It makes me want to write crossovers where zack gets broken out of prison to work off his “crime”, like by the Librarians (also on hulu, watching it now) or even a p5r crossover

1. Gordon Gordon as garmagon and Sweets as his finale apprentice

Would be really cool to see more of gordon gordan as a character, plus booth would probably be fucked up about having been genuinely helped by a serial killer.

Sweets feels like a better fit, very recent addition to the crew, knowledgeable about psychology, could easily play a weak humane man

2. Dr Goodman (s1 curator)

Why did he dissappear?? What sabbatical takes 2 years??? Murder sabbatical.

Great way to bring his character back but keep dr saroyan, explains the disappearance, also explains the lab access, maybe they never got rid of it or smthn

3. Caroline (a stretch)

Ok her character would need to be reworked entirely but I think it could be fun! Women in male dominated fields.

4. JUST KEEP THE SAME PLOT BUT LESS RUSHED

THE EXACT SAME THINGS HAPPEN JUST OVER 6-8 EPISODES RATHER THAN 1 AND 1/2 ❗️❗️❗️❗️

PLEASE HE GOT LIKE 3 MINUTES OF FUNERAL TIME ???? Itd be so cool to see how the lab behaves under the assumption he's dead.

also istg those grad students would not have finished that in a day. No way in hell.
