We have this pair of 1870s servers with a fabulous floral design that has been acid etched into the surface. They are in the ‘Knickerbocker’ pattern and feature flowers like bluebells and morning glory. Originally they were a jam spoon and master butter knife but, perhaps would find more use serving cheese and dips. They are by the American silversmith Gorham and are a rare and desirable pattern, with some serving pieces selling in the thousands of dollars. These two are in good condition, measure 16 & 20cm, and are available for $225 for the pair #gorham #gorhamsterling #gorhamsilver #gorhamknickerbocker #flowers #19thcentury #1870s #brisbaneantiques #antiquesilver (at The Antique Guild)
