As Kamen Rider Black faces a Black Cat Mutant, it's killed of by a new foe, Sword Saint Bilgenia! An arrogant warrior who is a pain for Kamen Rider Black as well as to Gorgom!
Some Kamen Rider Black questions! Maybe I missed this but: Where did Gorgom and the Century King come from? Were the 3 generals once humans?
This is speculation on my part but I tend to believe that Gorgom is part of some kind of Ancient Civilzation given that they have to choose a new Creation King every 50 millennia (50,000 years).
This would make them the oldest know civilization and, given their tech level, one of the most advanced of any era. Of course, that would make them not the only advanced civilization of ancient times in tokusatsu as we have Mu and Lemuria to worry about as seen in 1963′s Atragon (a.k.a. Kaitei Gunkaen) and 2006′s GoGo Sentai Boukenger respectively.
Those are both entirely human civilization, just very, very advanced.
There is also the fact that the Creation King who rules over Gorgom is the victor in the battle of the Century Kings who are made from human beings. I don’t think an non-human race would want to be ruled over by humans, no matter how altered and mutated they are. So, that’s why I tend to think the Gorgom Generals are (or were at one time) human before being altered into their current forms.
We also know that their mutants have extended lifespans reaching up to 5,500 years so it is very possible the Generals have been around even longer, long enough to forget their human origins in the distant past.
Mind you, this is all just speculation and I have no idea if Shotaro Ishinomori ever revealed a true origin for the Gorgom Generals in the manga for Kamen Rider Black.
If anyone has a more definitive answer, please let me know!
Thanks for the Question!

Gamera proudly showing off his post-Ozempic weight loss.
Okay, ya got me: it ain't really Gamera. That's Tortoise Mutant from Kamen Rider Black.
Lizard Mutant from Kamen Rider Black.
After Shadow Moon has been revived, the High Priests who gave him their stones begin reverting into their mutants forms! It's interesting cause older Kamen Rider shows would often show their generals mutant form when they're fighting Kamen Rider. A good twist indeed!
