Itâs no secret that some of us have a love-hate relationship with Google Chrome. The browser takes up more resources than any other, but it has its positive points too. For example, it is blazing fast, especially with JavaScript. If you want to see the full scope of this, check out Google Chrome Experiments.

Google authorship terminated!
Today John Mueller of Google Webmaster Tools announced in a Google+ post that Google will stop showing authorship results in Google Search results, and it will also no longer be tracking data from content using rel=author markup.
This means articles will no longer include a link to the Google+ profile of their author. The company says that it found the information isnât as useful to its users as it hoped, and in some cases even distracts from the overall search results.
Mueller added If youâre curious â in our tests, removing authorship generally does not seem to reduce traffic to sites. Nor does it increase clicks on ads. We make these kinds of changes to improve our usersâ experience.
From our point of view: this is a lie, autorship undoubtedly distract from ads! while ads are displayed as text, autorship display an image, which naturally attract the human attention more than a text, or at least distract from the ads!

âFind Your Way to Ozâ would have been impossible a few years ago. Since that time, the web has evolved and allowed developers and designers to create immersive beautiful experiences. For âFind Your Way to Ozâ the 3D environment was built entirely with new technologies such as WebGL and CSS3. Itâs enhanced by rich audio effects thanks to the Web Audio API. The photo booth and zoetrope were built using the getUserMedia feature of WebRTC, which grants webpages access to your computerâs camera and microphone (with your permission).Â
My kingdom for a visit to London soon. Say Hello To Web Lab is a groundbreaking, year-long exhibition, featuring a series of interactive Chrome Experiments that bring the extraordinary workings of the internet to life. Google Creative Lab and Tellart created the concept of the Web Labâfrom the user-experience as an integrated online and onsite experience, to its science museum context and audience, to the optical Lab Tag method for collecting artifacts, to the interactions between digital and physical touchpoints which allow in-museum and online audiences to collaborate.
This exhibit has been live in the Science Museum of London since July 19 and will keep open until June 20, 2013. I have a year to make it to London.
Join online visitors to create music together, watch your portrait being drawn by a robot and discover much more at this first-of-its-kind web-based exhibition. Open to the world online at chromeweblab.com
