On July 17, five years since the passing of Congressman John Lewis, communities across the country will take to the streets, courthouses, and community spaces to carry forward his fight for justice, voting rights, and dignity for all.

Congress members Valadao, Calvert and Kim voted for devastating cuts to Medicaid, and we’re calling to make sure they hear directly from their constituents about the hurt they’ve caused. We’re using this moment to hold them accountable and to show that Californians are watching. Join us as we make calls into key Republican districts and ask their constituents to demand answers: Why are you voting to take healthcare away from millions of people just to hand out more tax breaks to the wealthy? **This bill has:** **Slashed Medicaid, leaving millions without coverage** **Driven up healthcare costs, even for those with private insurance** **Forced hospitals and nursing homes to close their doors** We use a dialer system to make calls, so you’ll need a computer or laptop and internet access. We’ll provide a quick training at the start of each shift so there is no experience necessary. Our calls have already moved members of Congress.
