Here's one for you that I can't seem to answer myself for the life of me: having the chance, who would you prefer having a cup of coffee with? Jochen or Clark?
That is a tricky one - considering some things I'd want to ask them sort of crossover anyway - but personally, I'd have to go with Jimmy.
There's more I'd want to pick his brain about; such as his thoughts and feelings after the 1961 Italian GP, for example. It must have been terribly hard for him to, unfairly, shoulder the blame for as long as he did, and it obviously affected him deeply.
I adore Jochen, that much is probably obvious, but to sit down and have a friendly chat with Jimmy would be wonderful. And I think you'd be able to get some brilliant stories out of him within a one-on-one conversation in a relaxed atmosphere.
Though, it'd have to be over a hot chocolate because I can stand coffee! ;D
I just had to say: kudos for this blog. The "off the record" pictures you find of the great F1 drivers are astonishing, it's just an absolute pleasure to know a bit more about them aside from race points & standings. Cheers!
