I hope Taylor’s at home with Joe, wine drunk, laughing with her friends and family tonight, smiling because she did it again and this time she’s finally found happiness.

I remember Taylor saying in an interview that she had to really argue to say she wouldn't put her name on the cover of 1989
I desperately want to believe that in the meetings for Reputation, she smiled really sweetly and said "and I'll even put my name on the front this time"

Goodbye to a very special era
1989 was the most special era to me. I’ve never related to songs as much as I did with 1989 and not only that, I got the chance to meet @taylorswift during the 1989 era which makes it so much more special.
Lots of love and appreciation to 1989, and thank you Taylor, Andrea and @taylornation for making it to special for me. 💖

Shoutout to @taylorswift for giving me the courage to cut my hair during the 1989 era. I always had my hair long and boys told me never to cut it. Then I saw Taylor do it so I went for it and it was the most freeing thing. Thank you for making me feel brave always. (Yes I’m singing shake it off in this old video) @taylornation

goodbye 1989
thank you for being everything i needed. thank you for the fun. thank you for the heartbreak. thank you for the stories that matched my own. thank you for sharing my scars. thank you for healing my heart. every single day with you has been a journey. every single song has applied to me in some way. every single word made my heart ache, beat faster, or swell. i can never say what this ablum means to me. the Polaroids on my wall with lyrics as a constant reminder that it’s okay to not be okay.
to the relationship that inspired 1989. thank you for happening. thank you for blooming and being beautiful. but also, thank you for crashing and burning. thank you for the wreckage. thank you for the heartbreak so i knew i wasn’t the only one going through the same thing. thank you for giving taylor the inspiration she needed for this album. thanks for the memories that now feel so personal to us as well. we don’t know every detail. we don’t need to. but what we do know, is that all relationships, rather they bloom or die, are beautiful. because of this album, i know that letting go of unstable love is OKAY. it doesn’t mean it wasn’t worthwhile, it doesn’t even really mean it was toxic. it can be so right, and still be so wrong. and that’s okay. i needed this story. i needed these songs. i needed these reminders.
to taylor.. thank you for your words. thank you for your gorgeous mind and your wonderful way with words. thank you for always knowing what to say, even when i didn’t know what i needed to hear. thank you for September 25th in Nashville. thank you for the speech before clean that brought me to my knees. thank you for allowing me to see my worth, my strength. thank you for allowing me to let go of what my heart still ached from. thank you for letting me know it was okay to fully move on. while my heart may never be scar free, the wounds will never reopen.
to clean. the words i never knew i needed. the love i never knew i could let go of. the song i listened to on repeat for a year straight because i needed daily reminders. the song i listened to when i received those “can we talk” and “i miss you, i’m sorry” messages. the song i listened to when i needed the strength to delete the texts before replying.
@taylorswift this song saved my life. maybe that’s dramatic to some. but the path i was on, i don’t think i would have seen 26. and if i never saw 26, i wouldn’t know the love that i have now. i wouldn’t know my little girls smile. i wouldn’t know her giggle or silly dance moves. i wouldn’t be preparing to walk down the isle this upcoming October with a better man. without that song, i was destructive. clean healed me. thank you T.
I said it best on my Instagram so here we go. Goodby 1989 hello reputation. Thank you for everything T. @taylorswift
goodbye 1989 era. thank you for everything you taught us and gave us. i will never forget it. 💖
