Hi hello! I'm back. I stopped posting daily for a bit since the conferences I were in had pretty long days and I wasn't really doing anything productive outside of them.
If I'm being completely honest, I'm kinda exhausted lol. The back-to-back conferences were a lot and I got sick at the end of the second conference which really derailed my plans.
Still had to go to work when I got back though since I'm the chair and I knew we would not be able to start the quarter on the right track if I wasn't able to oversee everything. And apparently gas prices are too high now, so I was told by my mother to take the bus then walk home in the rain. Not the best thing for a sniffly gross pile of flesh.
And even today when I wanted to just do chores and get stuff for my student association done, I had to redo a good bit of my coworker's work because the format was a bit hard to understand.
I'm kinda a mess, but right now I just need to get enough done to survive Monday and Tuesday since my next big chunk of free time is Wednesday. Hopefully I'll be able to get the brochure done by then and then sent out to all the member campuses across the state by our meeting on Friday.
Not the best way to start a quarter, but I'll get through it!

Got recommended Ravel's "Le Tombeau de Couperin" by a batch mate of mine. I'm not a Ravel or 20th century music fan (yet? Well aside from Shostakovich, love the dude. Aside from him, I'm not familiar with Modern music), but Forlane and Rigaudon are probably part of my favorite pieces now (I keep humming Rigaudon in school). Now for the past few days I've been playing Ravel to let his music grow on me :0
