I had an idea for a fan art painting based on a photograph of Billie Eilish by Kelia Anne MacCluskey. As I was painting it, I started seeing it as a Magic the Gathering token, so I mocked it up for fun. I kinda like the idea of music artist inspired tokens, so i may do a couple more and make this a fan art series.
new GOLDWING thumbnail :))

'Goldwing' Bicycle Update
Been working on fixing this bad boi up for the past few days. Changed out the tires, brake cables, derailleur cables, adjusted the brakes, cleaned + greased the shifters, replaced the chain, and gave it a good washing. Still have a bit of work to make sure everything is fully serviced and operational but I took it for a short test ride up a hill and good grief is this thing a beast-
Might have a new addiction to fixing up bicycles though....might also have spent hours researching bicycle related stuff and spent way too much money on tools and supplies.
On the flip side Goldwing is looking to be one of the best bikes I've ever had the pleasure of owning. It's just the right size for me versus Trojan (a ginormous Dutch cruiser with the nickname 'nutcracker'). Goldwing is a 70's era steel bike I bought for dirt cheap that I have fixed up with my own two hands and I am damn proud about that.
This bicycle is the first bike with drop bars I've had and already it made a difference. At first it was nerve wracking to test drive a roadie without having ever ridden one and with the derailleurs being untested but I put it in a middle gear on the lower chainring and it tanked a fairly big long hill. I'll definitely be disassembling, cleaning, and lubing the derailleurs just to be on the safe side since both are a bit stiff. Everything needs to be either cleaned & lubed or replaced on this old bike but the bones are true. I wish I knew the stories this bike has seen... Hopefully I will add dozens more. The more good bikes I can save from the dump the better. It's rather sad to think about old bikes just collecting dust and grime in storage sheds. I'll be putting miles on Goldwing for sure.
