This is for fish keepers. Its a warning to you guys not to make my mistake.

So i normally buy a 1.5oz jar of shrimp from my local fish store/breeder that is $20. The shrimp come deveined, deheaded, and fat.

I need the shrimp for protein for my goldfish to go along with fresh shelled peas, broccoli, lettuce, and some high quality pellets as well from the breeder.

This month however i forgot to buy some so i just grabbed the best looking one from walmart for almost like $8 Not really thinking of it.

However! I noticed my goldfish wouldnt eat these ones. So i pulled a few out and tried to find out why.

1. They still had their heads, sharp legs and other parts.

I decided to cut the tails off and feed them that. So i dumped the contents of the jar out on a cutting board to do this.

2. I noticed as i cut tails off these shrimp were almost hollow.

3. I found a literally stick in the jar...

4. Most of the jar was heads with no tail...

5. I found fish mixed in with the shrimp.

So this brand has a lot of problems...the shrimp are also waxy feeling but the jar says its just sun dried shrimp. I dont really trust that. Also once i was done cleaning shrimp and removing fish this is what i had left of a brand new jar...

Idk if u can tell but its only about a 1/3 of the way full.

So long story short dont buy shit food from chain stores for ur fish. Just make the extra trip to ur local breeder/pet shop and buy the good stuff.
