I had a little time to kill before going to the barn π΄ this week, so I stopped by the now defunct Golden Gate Stables, where I first learned to ride π in the 80βs. Built in 1939, they have been languishing π for the past 20 years, waiting for someone to push a restoration funding measure through City Hall. Itβs sad to see them in this state but Iβm glad that at least theyβre still standing.
