If Keigo has to lay it on the line, he'd state this so-called exclusive charity event is turning out to be more tedious than he thought. He'd rather be outside indulging himself in some sizzling, delectable street food, or even just doing his evening patrols which have proven to be at least more entertaining than feigning interest at the display of pro hero after pro hero taking the stage to talk about how important rainforests are. 

All their speeches are starting to sound far too identical that he has lost count of how many heroes have expressed their unoriginal prattlings by now.

Don't get him wrong though. Keigo does care about the planet, he just wishes it doesn't require him donning a red Valentino three-piece suit and a single Golden Touch earring, faking smiles at cameras, then watch other pro heroes give themselves a pat on the back for showing they care. He's already donated his share so why does he have to be here? To make matters worse, he’s seated at the farthest table of the room just so his wings won’t block the view from the other attendees. His eyes trail to the other heroes he’s seated with until they settle on the particular one sitting next to him. Keigo doesn’t know him enough, mostly because the guy is based in America. 

What was his name again? Kingpin?

It’s hard to tell whether he’s enjoying the event or not but the blond assumes there’s no harm in asking the question that’s been brewing in his bored mind.

“Admiring my weapon, are you? The Dragonstomper .48– Only six were ever made for a lucky few. Well, not that lucky. I’ve killed four of them.”

                      Reaver’s gun truly was quite the sight. From the way it appeared to be an old timeish pistol, to the gold details and the way it seemed to sparkle whenever it was fired, it was indeed rather eye catching. Over the years he had added more golden aspects to it, but it never seemed to be enough. Twirling his beloved weapon between gloved fingers, the hero would chuckle,

“It truly is a pity that they don’t make guns like they used to–”

|| 明莉 || :: “ yes, i hear them. ” an honest ADMITTANCE regarding the voice of those who had perished, though she wouldn’t know if the other would believe her or not. most people wouldn’t, and the panther paid little to no mind to them as she had nothing to prove. “ i could hear their voices, their regrets ... and i could communicate with them. but only those who still linger in the in-between. ” sometimes, if the souls wished to, she could also see them, their appearance --- what they LOOKED like when they were ALIVE.
