They knew how wrong it was. How much trouble they were in. But overall how much shame they put to their family name. But the only thing they knew, that matter overall was the burning love they shared. The sweet kisses, the passionate loving nights were better than the last. But despite everything they were meant to be together even if they had to throw away all their hopes and dreams to make it last forever.

Klaus knew in this moment this is what he wanted. It was his last day here at the academy he had graduated a little while ago and was set on leaving with the hopes of entering the Ministry with a bright future ahead of him but there was one thing stopping him from leaving just yet. Elias.

Just last week he went into town into a jewelry store and purchase two silver bands. He had tossed and turned the idea around in his head for months. He came down to the conclusion he needed him by his side forever no matter the cost.

Now here he was in the northern forest by the lake waiting for Elias. He sat on a fallen tree limb that went into the water. He sent Elias a magic note telling him to meet him by lake. This had to be private and no matter what.

After a few minutes after sending the note Elias came into view. Klaus had his back turned and hadn’t heard him coming.

He walked up to Klaus and gave him a kiss on the cheek.

“I thought you were packing to leave?”

“Well, I was but there’s one thing I couldn’t leave without doing first.”

“Hmm. What’s that?” Elias said talking a seat next to him.

“Klaus took a deep reassuring breath and pulled out a small black velvet box and opened the lid and on the inside sat a silver band with the words engraved I will love you Forever.   Elias looked stunned and his eye were somewhat moist

“Elias, we have had our ups and our downs. Our hard times and our bad times. But out of everything we have continued to love and support each other through everything. You’re my shelter in a life-threatening storm and you’ve kept me up even when I was down. You understand me like no other, and even when I make wrong choices you’re there to guide me and support me in my time of need. I love you Elias will you marry me.”

Elias didn’t respond but pressed his lips to his in a deep heated passionate kiss. Klaus pulled away breathlessly. “So, I will take that as a yes then?”

“Your damn right you will.” Elias said kissing Klaus over and over again.

The trees that surrounded them and the soft breeze that cocooned them were the only witnesses to the beautiful moment shared.

Months later Klaus and Elias got married in court with a few friends as witness. When I came down to their parents they were cast from family name. The two got an apartment in the city next to the academy where Elias could still attend school.  

No matter what went wrong the two of them had each other to fall back on. After Elias graduated the academy they moved to the far end of Gedolune city occasionally talking to some friends. Then at dinner one night.

“K-klaus I have something I want to talk to you about.” Klaus looked up from the steak he was eating and set the silverware to the side.

“I’m listening.”

“I want a baby.” Klaus then spit his food out on the table.

“Elias! You know we can’t …”

“N-no I mean adoption!!!”

Klaus then relaxed in his chair. He felt his heart fly out the window. They sat in nerve wracking silence before putting his napkin on the table.

“I guess I will go make some calls then.” Klaus said getting up.

“You mean it!” Elias said and Klaus walked over and kissed his lips passionately.

“I will do anything to keep that beautiful smile on your face.” Klaus grinned at Elias and grabbed his chin and kissed him once more.

Four months later after a lot of paperwork and patience Klaus and Elias sat at the adoption agency. They had their eyes set on two beautiful twin baby girls who had a surprising similar appearance to them. Once the agent brought them back both Elias and Klaus had tears of joy in their arms.

Klaus named the sweet gift of joy in his arms Amethyst Marie Goldstein and Elias named the bubbly girly in his arm Lyla Jean Goldstein.

The four of them left the agency and head home. On the couch Elias leaned over and kissed Klaus’ cheek and leaned on his shoulder. Klaus responded by laying his head on Elias’.

Later that night after feeding and bathing their precious angels they put them in their cribs they both watched as they slept.

“They are the most perfect things in existence and I couldn’t be prouder to raise them as our daughters.” Elias spoke up.

“I couldn’t agree more.” Klaus said leaning over to capture Elias’ lips with his.
