it's funny because i put so much thought into designing my haikyuu fankids and taking into consideration how much of each parent they should look like, how it might affect how they're viewed in the story (arashi and mikasa both look more like oikawa and ushijima than iwaizumi and tendou because a big part of their character arcs involve them trying to live up to their parents' legacies), how similar they would look relative to their siblings (akiyo has kageyama's hair and hinata's eyes, haruna has hinata's hair and kageyama's eyes, and fuyukichi has an even mixture of both), if the natural way they look could be considered plausible in the world of haikyuu, etc, etc.
and then with my blue lock fankids. with my blue lock fankids i give them one parent's hair and the other parent's eyes and call it a day. reonagi's kid gets half purple half white hair and we're just rolling with it.

trying to come up with ideas for my blue lock next gen AU but the only two characters who i've even bothered to give character development to are baryu's fankid and charniko's fankid and the extent of that character development is:

ok making a next gen AU for blue lock is next to impossible because i face one of two or both of these dilemmas:
