The times of my life

God’s timing is truly unfathomably perfect. While on outreach and a little bit during lecture phase, God told me to stay in Australia for two months longer. I had no idea why, or how I would pay for it, or what I was supposed to do. All I knew is that God wanted me to serve in any way I could. So here’s an update from what I’ve been doing the past month.

I’m officially a volunteer pioneer for Go Fest Sydney 2015. Which is a conference happening in late June to get the youth (and adults) of Australia pumped about missions. There’s going to be awesome bands, workshops from different organizations, and speakers from all over the world coming. It’s actually pretty legit so if you want to know more about it, look it up! (www.gofest2015.com) But in March, Analies and I had the opportunity to help lead a Mission Adventure Camp here on base. Mission Adventures is like a mix between Younglife and YWAM for high school students. So we played games, had some break out sessions with worship and a talk, and then for a night, we went camping! It was so much fun to hang with the students and I’m so glad I was here to help out with it. After the camp, I was involved with a bunch of random things around base like the kitchen, events, and hospitality.

However, one of the coolest parts of staying has been these (what I call) ‘out of body experiences,’ where I try to process and see what God has been doing inside of me and where He is taking me. You can take a look at the next couple of posts for a taste of what He’s been showing me.
