' Oh, my sweet son really got his heart pulled asunder! I always knew there's something real going on between him and that Tarantella kid. And this letter proved all my suspicions. Hi Jambalaya

Stella looked over the frame photo of her and d her parents. A photograph she thought she buried deep under other photo albums. Supposed Stolas went digging ... Frustrating.

The photo itself was very old - covered in dust, tinted yellow. Her parents were dressed in rather old, simplistic clothes. They held a smile, but their eyes were tired. Stella, a young owlet in the photo, standing in front of her parents, smiling, but it didn’t reach her eyes. Her mother stood beside her, arms crossed as she looked rather stiff. Her feathers ruffled and dirty, just like her father’s.

Her eyes burned into the image of her parents, beak pursed as her brows knit slightly. “... It never mattered, I do not see a reason to talk of such things.”

The photograph was then quickly folded in her fingers, closing it up and out of her sight. She remembers the day that photo was taken. It was one of the few photos they managed to actually take ... And they STILL couldn’t dress properly for such things. Utterly embarrassing.

She should’ve thrown this thing away ... But she still wasn’t about to despite the thought.

“What does the past matter? It’s over and dealt with. You weren’t there. Be grateful for it. Digging up corpses will do nothing but make a mess of the place,” Stella waved it off as she began to strut away.

Husk: constanza later on tells me a story - when she first became famous at 17, she had a similar though less intensive experience as angel dust did, being fought over by admirers and suitors. but when she was 19, she met a then 30 year old henroin, who treated her like a person and is so gentle with her despite his fearsome reputation, and she felt so secure with him, and that's why she fell for henroin and married him. constanza also reaffirmed that angel dust fell for me for a similar reason.

"When Constanza told Husk that story of how she fell for Henroin, it just proved how deep the need for genuine respect runs," one denizen might comment. "Angel Dust finding that same safety with Husk? It's like poetry, breaking the cycle of objectification with pure, unadulterated care."

Husk: when angel dust was missing, the tarantellas joined alliances with the hotel to find angel dust. one time, alastor tried to cut a deal with sal, of all people. but sal has a terrifying debate edge and saw right through alastor's bullshit. sal calmly confronted alastor, saying how alastor is not that much different from vox, and just got guards to drag alastor out. I also got freed by stolas from alastor.

"You talk a good game, deer man," Salvatore Tarantella reportedly said to Alastor during their confrontation, "but your 'deals' have all the transparency of mud. You're just a velvet-gloved version of the same exploiters Angel's been dodging his whole life." [1]

Husk: nifty's dad daisuke is a bank teller and ninja spy, and nifty's mom sakura is a geisha turned housewife and yakuza spy. nifty's older brothers ( taro, kenzo and Mitsuo ) are restauranteurs and ninja spies. when the yamamotos heard of what the overlords did to angel dust, the yamamotos cut ties with alastor and sided with the tarantellas, and sakura deployed her entire spy network to commence undercover attack on the overlords' circuits. the yamamotos also now run an izakaya in gluttony ring, and daisuke runs a dojo next to it.

Husk: the yamamotos also now run an izakaya in gluttony ring, and daisuke runs a dojo next to it. when angel dust and I first went to the yamamoto izakaya together, angel dust absolutely loves the food there. daisuke also tells us that sakura is very skilled at poisoning the food of her enemies. no wonder the vees now kept getting sick.

"When Husk and Angel Dust went to the Yamamotos' izakaya, I heard Angel was just obsessed with the food," recounted one hell citizen. "He kept telling Husk, 'Husker, this is better than anything Ozzie's makes! And you know I love Ozzie's!'"

"Oh, totally," chimed in another. "I was in there when they arrived. Husk was trying to act all grumpy and casual, but the second Sakura-san brought out that yakitori, Angel practically levitated. I swear he ate half the kitchen's supply of gyoza."

A third patron, adjusting their bowtie, added their take: "The best part was when Daisuke came over to chat. Angel, with his mouth full, somehow managed to compliment the 'excellent ambiance' and 'divine culinary execution.' Husk just nodded sagely and ordered another round of sake, probably grateful someone else was doing the talking."

"Did you see them leave?" whispered a nearby imp. "Angel was glowing, I tell you. He draped himself over Husk and said, 'Mr. Dust's boyfriend, you've found us a new home!' Husk just rolled his eyes but he had this little smile. It was actually kind of cute."

"Yeah, and I also heard that Valentino suddenly got a mysterious case of food poisoning the very next day," the first citizen said with a knowing look. "Coincidence? I think not. That Yamamoto matriarch is a legend."

Husk: one time, I saw nifty ( whose real name is natsumi ) practicing ninja sword fighting with her dad, and we knew that daisuke raised his kids to be terrifying menaces.

Husk: one time, some time after angel dust returned, i was escorting angel dust to one of those dance classes, and I kissed him goodbye when all the 20 kids in that dance class saw everything and went, ' Oooooh! ' and then they started teasing us about it. angel dust laughed it off and quickly commenced the class with splits excercises. they are currently doing a choreography to born to hand jive that they'll perform in this sinsmas at the hotel stage, by the way.

On the teasing

"Oooooh!" the kids in Angel Dust's jazz dance class exclaimed in unison, covering their mouths with giggles as Husk kissed Angel goodbye.

"Mr. Dust's got a boyfriend!" one child whisper-shouted to another.

"They're gonna get married!" another added excitedly.

"That's so gross!" a third one yelled, though they were secretly smiling.

"Mr. Husk is nice, though," another student chimed in. "He brings Mr. Dust snacks!"

"Alright you little monsters, settle down!" Angel Dust laughed, rolling his eyes good-naturedly. "Time for splits exercises! Let's go, let's go, we've got a 'Born to Hand Jive' performance to perfect for Sinsmas!" The class quickly quieted down, everyone eager to start their choreography under their favorite teacher's instruction.

On the rehearsal

"The kids at Angel Dust's dance class are so dedicated!" one hell citizen was overheard saying. "I heard their 'Born to Hand Jive' rehearsal is incredible; they're all in sync, and the energy is just electric!"

"I totally agree," replied another. "My little imp saw Mr. Dust and Mr. Husker kiss goodbye the other day. Apparently, the 'Ooooh!' was deafening! It's sweet, honestly, seeing them all excited about the Sinsmas performance."

A third chimed in, "It's really heartwarming. Angel Dust is such a good teacher, and the way those kids look up to him is adorable. Can't wait for Sinsmas to see the final choreography on the hotel stage!"
