Damn, what he wouldn't give to be up in the vents with Lupin right now. Or better yet, flying a helicopter just out of radar range below the cliffs, ready to soar up and let his partners catch a rope ladder when the time was right. But he was only one man, and he had to make sure the road lay clear behind him for the trip out.

Jigen stood up and drew his knife. For a moment he thought about Lupin, bright and sunny, readier to kill through carelessness than by his own hand. He thought about Goemon, gleamingly precise, dealing death only when he chose to. He thought about Zenigata, who would be coming through here sooner rather than later, who could read a crime scene better than possibly any other cop on earth.

He thought about Lupin, chirpy voice grim and dark eyes glinting danger, ready to raze, burn, and salt the ashes of any organization that dared to steal one of his people from him. That's where Lupin was right now, pulling the strings, leaving Jigen to handle the business on the ground.

He thought about quiet Goemon, in who knew what shape by now, waiting stoically for rescue.

Goemon smirked and untied his fundoshi, freeing his now fully hard cock.

Jigen let out a long, low whistle, not even bothering to hide the hunger on his face. "Damn, Goemon. You just walk around like that?" He squirmed a little, looking Goemon up and down, a low flush starting to spread across his brown skin. "I... if..." He gulped. "Look, I didn't really expect to get this far right away. But I'd be *honored* to take that, whenever you feel ready."

(3) working title: hat trick

He thumbed over a couple of Jigen's mugshots, the oldest and newest of the lot. Surly face, aggressive beard, a pursed mouth twisted as if around a cigarette that wasn't there. The usually shadowed dark eyes glaring straight at the camera with an expression of *fuck you, give me back my damn hat*.

The differences were slight, but telling to Zenigata's practiced eye. The oldest picture, from the first time Jigen had been captured while working with Lupin, held an angry sullenness, a tension in the shoulders, as of a man who knows he's trapped and has nothing to do but berate himself inside his head for fucking up.

The newest one... Zenigata caught a fond smile creeping across his face and bit it back sternly. Jigen's newest mugshot was practically insouciant. He was still glowering at the camera, but his angular shoulders were relaxed, his head tilted a bit. Zenigata could practically see the familiar off-center stance, the hip and knee cocked, the relaxed posture of the hands. This was a Jigen confident in his rescue, simply waiting for Lupin to get him out.
