I was in the Malacañan Compound earlier today for a meeting with the Freedom of Information people. I was in the venue an hour early only to find out I was in the wrong place. With the help of the guards on duty and Google Map, I was able to mark and map out my way. The venue of the meeting was only a 10 minute walk from whee I was but Google Map did not show that the National Shrine of St. Jude Thaddeus is just around the bend. And so, I took my time to pray inside the church. I lit candles and lifted all of my heart’s desires to God asking St. Jude Thaddeus’s intercession. Some things in my life at the moment are not as happy and exciting as they appear in social media. There are days when I could not even hold my shit together. Honestly. Finding myself on the road where St. Jude awaits is a grace given so generously by a God who is so fond of surprises. Nabulaga talaga ako. I left the shrine laughing to myself. Feeling calm and safe with the knowledge that everything is going to be all right. #peritionforlostcauses #desperatleyseekingZarahG #grasya #godofsurprises (at National Shrine of Saint Jude Thaddeus) https://www.instagram.com/p/B44qxFCBbd2/?igshid=1gu61agqrt8jp
