If you have the ever been a part of a production - no matter how big or small, then you know exactly how I was feeling when this photo was taken. At the same time no one could have imagined what I actually went through to get to this point. Iโm sure you know that any event of this magnitude takes at a minimum - months to plan and even with the best planning, can all fall apart at the last minute. So itโs the day of the show and we are busy getting the modelโs hair, make up and clothing ready when the power went out. We brushed it off thinking it was just a spike but after two hours it started to get very warm in the room and the models were using their cell phone lights to get hair and makeup done. Art Hearts decided that we had to postpone until the next evening and invited all of the guests to come to the huge after party at the mansion. After a phenomenal evening, we checked out of our room and waited by the pool for word the power had been restored. About 4:30 PM I received word that we were going on at seven so I scrambled to get to Faena. We all tried to stay positive and push forward through concern that we may not actually have power in time. ๐๐๐ It was approximately 6:45 pm when HALLELUJAH the lights came on ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅand we were going to have our show! The amazingly talented hair and makeup teams took on a double load of work to get all of the designers plus all of the models runway ready but somehow we pulled it off & everyone looked absolutely beautiful. I gotta say, my goddess squad was SO on point they did 2 laps for the finale while waiting for me scrambling to find my gown backstage. I ran out on the runway with my bikini top and a half slip under this gorgeous gown ๐๐ผโโ๏ธ๐ and Iโm so very grateful to the creative teams @styletherunway & @aprillovepromakeupacademy that helped me not look like I had been sitting at the pool all afternoon in 90ยฐ weather.
