Posted @withregram • @womensmysteries 🌹Goddess Inanna/Ishtar🌹 Have you read Her stories? And did you know that the first named written texts from Sumeria, dating back 4000 years, was from a High Priestess of Inanna? The story of Inannas descent into the underworld is such a powerful one that most of us can relate to, being stripped off every layer of our being to access the deepest core. My first encounter with Inanna/Ishtar (one Goddess, two names from different time periods) was in a shamanic journey back in 2017. I did not know Her at all as I had not studied the mythology of Mesopotamia, which is where I descent from. But I saw all her symbols, the lion, the wings and a beautiful Goddess. Her words to me, looking back, where so profound now that I have seen the outcomes of the past 4 years. Now She is calling again, like a force, through my dreams, waves and serpents, through my subconscious and through my conscious. I am in full and deep Devotion to Her🌑 Beautiful art found on the page of a divine sister @goddess_rising created by @nothinmyst 🌹 #inanna #ishtar #goddessinanna #goddessishtar #inannatemple #ishtartemple #isis #venus #venusstarpoint #womensmysteries #devi #divinemother #goddess #lawofpositivism https://www.instagram.com/p/CQQ0fU0H4wF/?utm_medium=tumblr
