played dungeons and dragons for the first time on saturday... most of the time, my rolls were utter cr*p, the only time when I got good rolls were when my character was doing particularly psychotic things.  First, when we were surrounding a tied up goblin and deciding what to do with it, I accidentally told it that I would kill it slowly if it didn’t say anything fun.  And got a natural 20 on my intimidation check, so then I had a goblin following me around like a dog... and when the goblin was leading the group, after every 3 steps, I made it walk behind me and then ask permission to move forward.  Once in the cavern (traveling took 30 minutes longer because of the peculiar order regarding the gobitch), I failed while attempting to beat up another goblin.  My teammate ‘saved’ me and then I decided to crush the corpse.  The team’s wizard did not like this and attempted to stop me.  I rolled another natural 20 on the strength check, picked him up, moved him over, and proceeded to crush the corps after finding 6 gold pieces.
