It's the end of the semester and most of us are stuck in libraries, cafes, studying areas, or just outside and not thinking about it.
It's finals time and it's stressful.
Even here, in our humble GoBe Groups office, we’re studying for our own finals, while tweaking, fixing, and perfecting our app. Here are some study tips that we use during finals week!
1. Create a study guide with classmates

2. Study things not on the study guide.
Although study guides may contain the most salient aspects of the material you’re studying, they may leave out some of the trenchant details that your professor wants you to know. Try to find ways to link the concepts to lectures and find what the professor wants you to know about the concept.
3. Review the assigned reading materials
Reviewing the assigned readings while going through the notes you took from the readings to make sure you didn't miss any key information.
4. Take breaks
Relax! Take frequent breaks while studying in order to rest your eyes and limber up. Feel free to take a stroll outside, get some Vitamin D; wonder and wander. On the other hand, you could alleviate some stress by being productive in some other aspects of your life: do some dishes, the laundry, or simply catch up on some new music. It’s imperative to take a breather while you study, hakuna matata, your brain will appreciate it.
5. Organize a study session with your classmates
Talk to your classmates! They may be able to answer some questions you have, as you may be able to answer theirs! Remember that the best way to learn something is to teach it; if you can’t teach a concept, you don’t know it well enough.
