LET’S FIGHT DEPRESSION
Depression is a real illness that impacts the brain. A serious medical condition in which a person feels very sad, hopeless and unimportant. There are people who is suffering from depression. Many factors may contribute to the onset of depression, including genetic characteristics, changes in hormone levels, certain medical illnesses, stress, grief, or substance abuse. Any of these factors alone or in combination can bring about the specific changes in brain chemistry that lead to the many symptoms of depression, bipolar disorder and related conditions. So, did some research about coping depression.
1. Do Things That Can Make you Happy
Watch a funny movie, Watching a movie with family and friends can make you happy and also you get to bond with them in an instant. Do your hobby, go out with your friends and go shopping with them can release stress that can cause depression.
2. Eat Healthy
Eating healthy foods such as vegetables and fruits for your mind and body. Don’t skip meals. Skipping meals can make you feel irritable and tired, so aim to eat something at least every three to four hours. Eat foods that is rich in Omega-3 play an essential role in stabilizing mood. The best sources are fatty fish such as salmon, herring, mackerel, anchovies, sardines, tuna, and some cold-water fish oil supplements. And of course take up a vitamin, like vitamin B to be active, and vitamin C.
3. Get Enough Sleep
Aim for eight hours of sleep. Depression typically involves sleep problems; whether you’re sleeping too little or too much, your mood suffers. Depression can make it hard to get enough shut-eye, and too little sleep can make depression worse.
4. Exercise
Exercise is an activity requiring physical effort, carried out especially to sustain or improve health and fitness. That also helps to boost our mind to getaway from depression. Go to the gym, do yoga or sport.
5. Be Positive
A positive person anticipates happiness, health and success, and believes he or she can overcome any obstacle and difficulty. Positive thinking is not a concept that everyone believes and follows. Some, consider it as nonsense, and scoff at people who follow it. However, there is a growing number of people, who accept positive thinking as a fact, and believe in its effectiveness. Also Thinking positive is never wrong. Having a positive mind helps one to discover his talents and potentials.
