@goat-a-clock @karloffmennis i don’t know how universal of a thing that is, but at least in close fandom/friend circles you have plenty of people who talk about their faves constantly as if they’re living a little cute domestic life together and you’re just kinda haha that guy really loves that character huh and like... i guess a part of my comic’s thesis is like but what if they meant every word of that, wouldn’t that be an eventual real funny reveal?
@antrozoini all this time i’ve been doing milton’s lines exclusively in pixels to contrast their weirdness against everyone else’s ‘’normal’’ regular sketchy brush lines and in part 4 when milton’s so upset out of their mind that they’ve started to glitch out, i went a step further and added colour to both their sprites and speech bubbles!
it is very subtle and most of the colour is hiding in the noise pixelation and rgb shift but it’s there, yeah! i figured in a grayscale comic that’s lined with a soft brush the most out of place, supernatural, wacky character would feel out of place even for the reader was if they had different line properties - pixelart and even a dash of colour! i hope that makes sense!
