Faulkner: what tropes do you LOVE writing? which ones are your guilty pleasure?

trope: what’s a pet peeve you have about writing?
it takes so frickin long.
okay so like last time I checked I type at a rate of 100wpm, which is GREAT because it means my fingers can actually keep up with the emotional roller coaster that’s derailed and replaced my train of thought, but like– if I just wanna slap something down real quick. or write a story. the process behind it just takes so freakin long and motivation is so fickle why.
I don’t have too many peeves about writing honestly but that’s gotta be the biggest one. And it’s probably a dumb one too, tbh, because. It’s a creative process. I’m creating something out of nothing. Of course it’s gonna take time. But if there’s any peeve I have towards writing, that’s gotta be it.
