De Firmador's frequent disappearances from his social circles were in fact a way of life. He would be travelling extensively, working for two or three years and then he would vanish. For one of his secluded mansions or in a busy urban center under another identity.
His cosmopolitanism in that regard was only equaled by his fondness for wide spaces and solitude.
During the time he would be absent De Firmador worked on his ideas, things that he pursued on his own.
One of his ideas is that he wanted a universal sign matrix.
Everything from home to car to services was to be a standard sign, and projects, companies or even cities and states where as many signs.
Those signs had to fit a 19x19 pixels matrix.
Then he put the best experts to produce it and lobbied so that it becomes an international norm.
