In Indian Railways, GNWL (General Waiting List) and RLWL (Remote Location Waiting List) represent different ticket quotas.

GNWL is issued from the train’s origin or major stations and usually has higher confirmation chances due to more cancellations. RLWL, given for intermediate stations, has a lower chance of confirmation as it depends on limited, location-specific cancellations.

In short, GNWL moves faster, while RLWL is less reliable.
