Game and Watch, huh? It’s been a while since I heard that name…🚬
Paul McDermott (Indie)
Any followers that have hung in there with me and my hyperfixations will probably know by now that this man would get his own Ausmusic month post. All of these tunes were written and performed by Dermo.
CW: swearing, controlling themes. Trivia: Paul regularly ended the show (Good News Week) with a song. This is the only single that I'm aware of (along with Shut Up/Kiss Me) that he brought out after his DAAS days.
More below the cut (including what 25 years has done to the man😈)
So I decided to check out goodnight world, cause I thought it would be a fun anime about a simple family becoming close again over video games
It’s SO MUCH MORE DARKER THAN I THOUGHT.

THE NIGHTMARE WAS DEFINITELY OVER -- BUT THE METAL MANIA HAD ONLY JUST BEGUN.
PIC(S) INFO: Spotlight on 3/4 of the DISCHARGE line-up for the ill-fated "Grave New World" LP and subsequent tour of said album. L to R: Nick Bushell (bass guitar), Garry Maloney (drums), and Stephen "Fish" Brookes (guitarist). Second shot is of drummer Garry Maloney during their legendary GNW U.S. tour.
NEGATIVE INSIGHT: "At any point, was there any talk of ever just going back to the classic DISCHARGE sound or even stuff like "The Price Of Silence"?"
STEPHEN "FISH" BROOKES (GNW guitarist): "We all wanted to play the classic stuff."
N.I.: "Did Cal have complete control of the band's decisions?"
FISH: "Yes, absolutely. No one had any say in any decisions."
N.I.: "Why did Cal quit? Were you surprised?"
FISH: "After the USA tour, we had planned on kicking him out. Midway through the USA tour, we would go back onstage after he had finished and play some old songs, but without vocals. When we got back home, we just carried on without him. Having hindsight, a pretty dumb decision, but we were young and saw the potential of DISCHARGE, had Cal not screwed it up. I've toured a lot with different punk bands, none of them compare to some of the crowds DISCHARGE pulled on that tour."
Dis nightmare still @$!*#&% continues??

Sakura Great Ninja War paper collage Not totally thrilled how she turned out. But good enough. Still one of my top favorite characters of all time Also also i got a bit tooooooo much with the shading
So I was rewatching Good News Week and came across this. For reference, Australian comedy panel news show where we'd put the PM on a couch and ask who they'd turn gay for.
