Some of us think that sitting next to that special someone means nothing but to the rest of us it means the world. It means being able to look right next to you and seeing the one person who has your heart. It's getting closer and closer to them. It's moving each others hands an inch closer until your fingers are intertwined. It's being able to secretly mess with each other. It's being able to glance right beside you and see them staring at you as if you were all they ever wanted. It's laying your head on their shoulder and being able to feel their breathing get a bit heavier the closer you get. It's them kissing your forehead letting you know how much they need you and want to be with you, it's showing you how much they adore you. Sitting right next to them isn't just sitting. It's being able to lean in and looking into each others eyes as you let them see every one of your imperfections, it's holding them against your body not wanting to let them go until finally you feel their open lips against yours as they slowly shut against one another, letting the world around you fade. It's hearing their heartbeat race in harmony with yours. It's the perfect moment you end up thinking about every night. So to the rest of us sitting beside that special someone is all you could have ever asked for. -gmrl

Anxiety It's 1:05 am and I'm laying in bed staring at the ceiling. So many pictures and visuals flash through my mind at once. Happy, said, love, death, heaven, hell, past & future. My heart is pounding my breathing gets heavy. Will I make it on my own? Will I kill myself sooner than later? Will my parents be proud? Will my brother remember his depressed little sister? Will the people who claimed to care about me drop me off the face of the earth like all the rest? All of this runs through my mind and I feel overwhelmed. Why can't I just be done with this all and stop worrying. Stop worrying about the past and the future and just live in right now. Why can't it be that simple? I guess the one above gave his toughest battles to his strongest soldiers. -gmrl

I'm sorry I push you away. I'm sorry that I leave before I'm left. I'm sorry that I'm so stubborn. I'm sorry I'm so emotional. I'm sorry you can't get past the wall I have built 20 miles high. I'm sorry that half of the time I don't say anything to anyone anymore. I'm sorry that I'm so wrecked on the inside that it sometimes creeps through my smile. I'm sorry I've hurt you it never was my intention. I just don't know what to do at the moment.
