Me: No, it's the other way around. The person signing up is using the address without a dot, which redirects all the notifications to my address, which is with dot.
Me: I think the customer should be notified that he needs to stop using my email address, to be honest. I'm not sure you can actually do that.
Customer Support: The address without a dot is -----.
Me: Indeed.
Customer Support: If it is a gmail bug, we would not have an option to stop it. Gmail would need to be contacted for assistance.
Me: I understand, and from my experience that is never going to happen.
