This was based off a South Side Rules podcast episode, so full credit for the idea should go to @michellemisfit and @rutherinahobbit...
Basically they were talking about how Ian being at the birth would have been the perfect way for him to decide that yes, he'd lie on his EMT application because it's something he really wants to do. So maybe he wandered back home to talk it out with Lip or something and then the whole birth happens, he deals with it with V... And maybe a paramedic comments on how great he did and Ian says he passed his EMT test and they're like "that's great we need more people like you"...
And yeah it tickled the brain and I wanted to write it. Unsure if/when I will.
