To start off:: My preferences: I have combination-oily skin at my Tzone. I also have some small dry spots on my nose. My oil is not bad and I do not need to blot throughout the day. The only time I need to is when I'm sweaty. I prefer a dewy complexion. I dislike shimmer. Whenever I wear eyemakeup, I would prefer to use metallic/satin finishes--not matte shadows with shimmer in them. Yes, I do have oily skin but I take that into my considerations. Yes, probably a matte finish would have worked best, but I dislike matte skin on me. It's just my preferences and I think people should do what they think looks best on them :) I applied the BB cream with the ELF small stippling brush. On to the review::: Finish:: It is a very pearlescent BB cream!!! It doesn't look like a moisturized-face glow; it has a metallic finish. The shimmer in this BB cream is very fine and there is a lot in it. A lot. Don't even touch your face because all the shimmer will transfer onto your hands and onto whatever you'll touch! Careful! Keep reading on my conclusion about it! Coverage:: It has light to medium coverage. It covers my capillaries, my minor redness, and evens out my skin tone. However, it didn't cover a pimple I had. Lasting Power:: Not bad. I didn't powder my face for this review. I noticed my problem areas (redness, pimples, etc) was completely uncovered around 5 hours later. In that time, I couldn't check; sorry! Conclusion:: I didn't like the composition. There was too much shimmer. The day light really brings it out. Though, the finish is beautiful under dim light/night time! However, I would still prefer a moist-looking BB cream without any shimmer to give me that glow. SOLUTION: IT MAKES AN AMAZING HIGHLIGHTER. The shimmer is finer than Benefit's Moonbeam. I think it worth the price considering how much more product you are getting. Be careful with this BB cream! It is very easy to make it look like you put Moon beam all over your face. I dont like it as a BB but as a highlighter, yes! I would say it's a Sunbeam dupe but better because of the finer shimmer.
