Okay, the questions I got are:

1. Favorite monster(s)?

Hm. I think I have to go with Mike Wazowski. Or my best friend's kid when he is cranky. 

2. Favorite dessert?

Tricky. I have to go with a slightly tart apple pie that has a flaky, moist, delicious crust topped with a sprinkle of coarse sugar for a little crunch, a filling with perfectly cooked apples seasoned just right with cinnamon, cloves, allspice, nutmeg, and brown sugar, served at the perfect temperature, topped with real vanilla ice cream and real whipped cream, and served with a hunk of extra-sharp cheddar. And a shot of excellent brandy. Preferably eaten on a cold winter night in front of a fire with cats, husband, and computer nearby for fanfic.  

3. Favorite desert?

The Gobi. I have never seen anything like it. Miles and miles (or km and km) of nothing. No green. No nothing. Nothing living. Just little, wind- and water-carved and smoothed rocks. I spent a lot of time there because SCIENCE! Close second is the Chihuahuan Desert, land of evil plants and animals that all want you dead or, failing that, grievously injured (this is the desert that delivered me the wound that, at age 37, was first time I ever required stitches). 

4. Favorite recipe involving 5 ingredients or less?

Fake Egg-Drop Soup:

Heat 1 can chicken broth and stir in a little corn starch before it gets too hot. Add a pinch of ginger powder and garlic powder, and slowly drizzle in 1 lightly beaten egg.  If you want to go crazy, you can add dried or fresh scallions for a 6th ingredient.  

5. Favorite song?

Oh lordy, this varies day-to-day and with my mood, and it's never one song: I have a playlist for my life every day. The last ten songs I listened to today were:

6. If you hold a degree, are you working in a related field?

I do hold a degree, and depending on the day: hell yeah!, yes, sort of, kind of, stretching it, and nah.  It's, um, complicated.

7. Schrodinger’s cat - dead or alive?

Yes and No. I have not opened the box.

8. What was the last movie you saw in a theater?

I think it was the last Hobbit movie. I missed a bunch when I retreated into my hidey-hole to make a book happen. :(

9. First crush, celebrity or otherwise?

Hm. I had my first crush I can remember in second grade on a certain boy who shall remain nameless. First heartbreak, too, when he said he liked my friend Alison better than me. I still keep up with him on other social media, which is cool. And he's still cute (✿◠‿◠)
