as mentioned before, i have a love affair with bezier curves, which is how these antlers were made as well.

Picking the project back up this week~

i learned a lot between when i made the mesh, and now. such as: seams make life 100% easier. i added in seams to the antlers and flowers, though the flowers were a mess topology wise.

so i redid them completely this morning.

original crappy UV versus new, cleaner UV (i decimated more after this and updated the UV)

and much happier little flowers.

texturing the antler was difficult because i've never really drawn woodgrain before, but im happy with what i was able to do.

taking a million shots of the process is a newer thing ive been doing so i don't have early WIP's for this one (they were pretty bad though lmfao)

I draw all my textures by hand. I use mostly airbrushing. Clover wanted a moss agate stone pattern so i used some smoke brushes to create the effects as well.

so i wasn't sure how to approach this at first, and ended up taking a chunk of the masc frame nude top, cut out the shape I wanted, then used that as a template to build out the necklace
