Introducing Angel Mobb's GLOCKIE

Popular since her first hit and pleasingly raunchy lyrics, there is no doubt that this lyrical angel was sent straight from heaven to bless the underground with her funky rhymes and her bars (best and ONLY served hot). 17 year old internet phenom Glockie gives us some insight to what some of her interests are with a taste of her personal life.

N: Who are you and what do you do?

G: I'm Marysa A.K.A Glockie or whatever other rap name I come up with because I can't ever keep one, lol and I make music with Angel Mobb.

N: How long have you been rapping?

G: I've always wrote music, since I was like in Elementary. It was ass, but I started putting music out like 8 months ago.

N: Do you have any other hobbies? If so, what are they.

G: Yeah sort of, I like to draw, I love to cook, I considered Culinary school for a while, and make up. I love doing makeup.

N: Describe Angel Mobb in your own words. What is it to you? What does Angel Mobb mean?

G: Angelmobb to me is a group of good friends who share the same interests in and out of music. We all got each other, its like a sisterhood lmao. We all have hard ass grown bitch content in our music, you know? But we're all nice...to a point. Everyone has this fucked up perception of the mobb, they either think we're too young to do what we do or just think we are trash, but all that stuff doesn't mater because from the outside, yeah Angelmobb look like just a rap group but from the inside it truly Is girls being girls, strong girls. Sisters and shit.

N: Who are some of your favorite artists and/or groups?

G: Some favorites would be Icy Twat/Lil Fendi, Bones/surrenderdorothy, Xavier Wulf, CSPG, Daddy Yankee, Chief Keef, Gucci Mane, Three 6 Mafia, L'Trimm, Type O Negative, The Exploited, there's so many.

N: What genre of music do you enjoy the most?

G: I listen to rap mostly but I enjoy listening to like 90s-2000s R&B and Pop more than anything.

N: What is your favorite song of yours?

G: Something untitled I did for Icy Twat--that Is unreleased until like February though--and Holy Spit with Cheet and Nast.

N: What is your favorite song at the moment?

N: Who are your music influences/inspirations?

G: All the Angelmobb girls inspire me. Them and all the other hard ass female artists. Gangsta Boo, Trina, Amber London, La Chat, Queen Latifah, all them.

N: What is your favorite food for breakfast lunch and dinner?

G: Hash browns and eggs for breakfast, this vegetarian sandwich I make that's egg, spinach, tomato, and pepper jack for lunch and anything with beans for dinner. Love me some beans.

N: Same. Beans are life. What's your favorite drink?

G: Cliché but water, if I'm not drinking water I'm drinking coconut water.

N: Tell us about someone who has influenced you in life.

G: My grandma from my dad's side. Se went through hell and still is THE STRONGEST woman I know. Shout out to Grandma Brunie A.K.A BruDawg, I love you.

N: Tell us about someone or something you have fallen in love with.

G: I was in love with this guy back in 2012. Like head over heels in love. It was so real and so lame. I was in love with my cat before she passed. She was my best friend for like twelve years. I'm in love with my baby sister she's very important to me. And I'm in love with Xavier Wulf's chipped tooth. I'm also very in love with this cashier at Blaze pizza that's located in the Rolling Hills Plaza. I don't know his name though.

N: Who are some artists you wish to work with?

G: I can't think of anyone I want to work with that isn't already in the works which is awesome to say. But yeah, I have no set goals when it comes to collaborating.

N: What are your goals for the future as a group? Individual?

G: Individually I just want to make enough money to get my family off fast food forever even if it's not by music. Fuck fast food. As a group I want us to make as many moves as possible. Shit on everyone that's said some unnecessarily negative shit about us. And shake hands with Soulja Boy.

N: You can do ANYTHING. What is your dream job?

G: Like if college and all that wasn't an issue and I could do what I wanted without money and school I'd be a teacher. That sounds so whack but like an elementary school teacher. Hell yeah I love kids.

N: Tell us about your first performance ever.

G: It was with Nast at a friend's little backyard show thing. It was me, her, some of her Thraxx broes, some of my local broes I went to school with (shout out Random Black and them Rotts) and it was cool. I was nervous and shaking but the props me and Nast got just off one song was insane.

N: How is your relationship with the other group members?

G: It's pretty good. Nast and I are super close. We talk a lot. Cheet and I are close too despite the fact that we don't talk as often. I don't really talk to the other girls unless its in person. I wish we were closer but good friendships take time you know? Like me, Cheet, and Nast were friends before Angelmobb was even a thing. I'll still spit on a bitch for ANY of the Angels though. haha.

N: What is your favorite Mobb memory?

G: There was this time myself, Cheet and Nast came home together from performing with Zoot Leggz at a HAM on Everything party and we were all crucially smacked. Like it was bad but so fun. We ate a lot that night too, everything tasted so good haha.

N: Do you have any upcoming projects?

G: I was working on my first tape that I wanted to drop February but I was emo and loafing while I should have been writing. I'm still going to drop it though, just don't know when. Icy Twat's Dior Junts drops Valentines Day though and I'm on that.

N: Ok Glockie, is there anything you want to tell the audience?

G: Yes, just shout out to Bagelwings, Icy Twat again, Shroomhead, Chill As Fuck, my dad, all them riding with us. Thank you so much.
