Apollo, as the god of light, has complete and utter control over it. Things like making an area brighter would be child’s play to him. But he can also do things like cast illusions because of the way that humans see. Bend light away from a thing, you’ve made it invisible. He also can suck the light out of an area, making people blind.

In addition, Apollo can see anything that is in daylight, no matter where in the world it is, unless that thing or person is being intentionally blocked from his view (a la Artemis in the third book).

I’m sorry but I do not know this character you talk about, however I should say that’s just my divine blood and hard training working on my body.” He chuckled boisterously and eyed the other down while giving some pats to his head in a ‘don’t worry’ manner, it was best for him to just get used to it and not give it too much importance.

| 🍎 |  There is the soft plodding of footsteps, hooves beating against the ground as the buckskin stallion paces around, breeze whipping through his mane, and eyes fluttering shut as he enjoys the feeling. He knows he is not alone, but does not stand on edge, because there is something about the presence lingering nearby that eases him into believing there is no threat to be found. 

Spirit leaps up onto his hind legs, calling out to his herd, a sign that he will be off for a while, but will return by nightfall. 

Satisfied that they have heard them with the chorus of whinnies that return, Spirit turns around, sniffing about, and deciding to track down this new scent. He enjoyed a little adventure almost as much as he enjoyed running throughout the fields, leaping after the eagle through plains of grass. 

Still, he cannot help but short in confusion when his snuff ends up pressed against a pair of shoes, his head whirring up so that he can stare into the eyes of a two legged, muscles rippling as they tense. Was this the source of that new energy he had felt?
