God… when was the last time that you actually smiled because of something you found beautiful in this world? It could be a cheesy line someone told you, it could be a stupid joke… it could be the face of an animal that you love very much… anything, really… but tell me, when was the last time?

I remember the last time for me… I was watching a classic romance movie. It was one of those magnificent pieces that made your heart skip a beat every five minutes of the film. And I remember there was this scene where the main character just glided into their lover’s room, strolled in all casual… they acted like there was nothing abnormal about what they were about to say or do… then just laid the question on their soulmate.

Will you marry me?

Not only did the scene bring a huge, genuinely happy smile to my face, but it also brought tears to my eyes… I couldn’t help but sob quietly into my hands while I shook from my tears.
