Having spectacles is exactly like that, except when you blink it doesn’t become clear.

Yesterday did the yearly eye Dr. thing. 20 something Dr. enters the exam room, introduces herself and asks "why are you here today?" Me: 'cuz, you know, blind as a bat and sonar doesn't work for me... I don't "ping" well and for some reason people get annoyed when you're screeching to 'hear if anything is in your way", plus it really doesn't work well when you're driving either. She looks at me funny then asks "do you have any complaints?" Me: besides having trouble seeing? Yes, old woman facial sag sucks and it's hard keeping my glasses from sliding off said saggy face.
