From a Notebook That Burned 1. I don't write poems— I break windows with syllables. 2. Love me cruelly. Kindness wears too much perfume. 3. Don’t say my name. Say the air around it. 4. Your silence— a knife that went missing but left a scar anyway. 5. Your shoulder held more warmth than the sun ever learned 6. I chose you because ruin felt honest. 7. What you called “madness” was just honesty— without its gloves on. 8. A bird in winter doesn’t pray— it endures with hollow bones and a song anyway. 9.
