She told me she’s in need of blackhead removal products. Thus, I decided to shop in Althea. They sell Korean beauty and skincare products at a cheaper price and comes with free shipping (and no duties to pay!). I’ve heard Korean skincare products are worth the try.
Unfortunately, I can’t resist buying for myself as well. Call it as a New Year gift to myself. 🤷♀️

WHAT I GOT
I discovered the Eye of Horus when I was looking for a long-lasting eyeliner that won’t irritate my sensitive eyes. It was during my preparation for the College academic recognition and graduation week. I received so many compliments on my eyeliner. Many asked what eyeliner am I wearing. Since more of their eye makeup became available in the Philippines, my love for EOH intensified. It is pretty pricey, so I have never owned another EOH makeup until last January!
When GlamourBox released this Easy on the Eyes Eye of Horus beauty box, I thought this is my chance to grow my EOH collection. The total price of the contents is PHP 3,910. The box is priced at PHP 1,290 only. After all, I’m in need of a neutral, earth-toned eye shadow palette (even if I don’t wear eyeshadow on a daily basis) and a brown eyeliner (since Get it Beauty gurus have always sworn by the power of a brown eyeliner). Imagine how grateful I am to my brother for granting my wish! 😭

Looking at my purchase for myself, I realized I’m watching too much Get It Beauty. 😂 I do not intend to buy a foot pack and a lip tattoo/tint. My tub Nature Republic Aloe Vera gel is almost empty. I can’t survive a day without this. This gel calms the hell out off my psoriasis. Fortunately, it is on sale in Althea.
I gave in to the Korean foot pack and lip tint trend. No regrets! The foot pack is worth the try and the lip tint (I got the Rose Gold shade). The foot pack smells like baby powder, while the lip tint smells like the Kylie Lipsticks without the hint of alcohol. Moreover, it does not dry out my lips! It may not stay as long as the Kylie Lipstick but this lip tint leaves a little color without emphasizing my cracked lips. If I forgot to reapply the lip tint, I don’t have to worry about looking dead. Looks like I found an alternate everyday lipstick to my Candy K.

Glamourbox’s collab with Pixi by Petra is pretty exciting. This is the first box I’ve ever purchased, though I have ordered from Glamourbox before (Pixi by Petra wasn’t available in malls yet)!
I really do like Pixi’s products, and was really looking forward to trying one of their palettes.
At a price of 1290 php, this box is roughly a third of the standard retail price of the products! It’s like I just paid for the Book of Beauty and got the rest (full size all, except for the Glow Tonic) for free! That’s a pretty good deal, if you ask me.
