The newest Gladiators event, Unleash, made its debut in Heat 3 of the 2025 series!
This high-speed game tasks contenders with running around a track, navigating a hurdle, a block wall and a staircase - all while being chased by a mystery Gladiator, with only a three second head start. If the contender can leap off the final platform and grab the flag, they'll earn ten points - they'll get just five if they miss, and nothing if they're caught.
How did the first contenders do? Well, Apollo managed to catch his prey after Lewis stumbled through the wall, but Mus earned the full ten points after Phantom was disqualified, due to taking a shortcut and skipping stairs to catch his speedy adversary.
Despite a stumble at the block wall, Fire's sprinting prowess enabled her to catch Amanda with ease. New Gladiator Cyclone fell at the final corner and failed to catch Toni, but the contender was docked five points for skipping a step.
What did you thinnk of this new event?
Gladiators is back for 2025, and the classic game Atlaspheres is back too! And, erm, maybe they need a bit more friction with the arena floor…
