Besides a lack of money, possibly Ruby’s Father having posters of a lost child up….

So after I waited a while I realized you hadn’t actually read the post and reacted just to the first sentence, but here’s why the “lack of money” and “Ruby’s Father not being willfully useless” theories don’t work.

1. RNJR never comment, “Wow, we’re out of money” while they’re traveling. They never say, “If only we could afford the train!” or “There’s gotta be something we could do in exchange for a sweet airship ride.” Now if that were the case they could be traveling to Kuroyuri to kill the grimm there, because the bounty on its head would more than cover the cost of travel, but because they’re ambushed by Tyrian it’s a more difficult task than they previously thought. Buuuuut that doesn’t happen.

2. Ruby’s father uses Yang as an excuse not to help, but when Yang leaves he never offers to come with or asks if Ruby is OK or expresses really any concern about Ruby’s well-being in such a way that might imply he’ll go and help. He just kind of goes, “Yang. Yang. What are you doing. You’re not ready. But I won’t stop you because I’m sad about my exes.” There’s no bounty on Ruby’s head either.

This is the same fandom that ships OzpinXRuby and RomanXRuby.. What did you expect?

Mephisto head that Weiss is jealous of father’s picking up their kids and carrying them around.... Guess who scooped up Weiss to carry her on his shoulders.

I mean I’m relatively new to the behind the scenes aspect of the fandom so please correct me if I’m wrong, but I always understood and felt that it came across that Arryn and Barb actually did want Bumbleby to become a thing and they honestly shipped it, it’s just that’s not how the show was being written by those in charge.

        Noun; A strange, small, rodent-like creature not of this world. How did it get here? Why is it here? Why is a creature who can throw lightning like Mistrali gods of old so adorable? None of these questions are answered.

         Perhaps it would be best if it was given to miss Valkyrie?
