“Look, I’m not gay,” Ash pointed out, immediately, as he looked to the eldest Jeong. He didn’t even know the guy. He was King, it wasn’t like he tried to know the Princes and Princesses of the other kingdoms. Maybe he should. He wasn’t sure what to do, he was never raised to be a King, after all. He took a step back from the Prince from his inner monologue. “That came out wrong. I just thought since we were close, like the only ones without a dance partner, you were suggesting we dance together, and I am not dancing with a guy. No sir. Not even for lessons.”

Hypnos gave an amusing small smile, the one that was more of a smirk, as he listened to Florent speak over their lunch. He nodded slowly, moving a hand forward to take the glass of wine. It was as if it was a romantic night, instead of just two friends catching up, what with the private dinner and aged wine. But what could they say? They were royals. The law can be changed. “Yeah, but not without a bit of friction from your parents and my sister and the people, depending on the law. Any law can be changed or added.”
