#given chapter

The new Given chapter came out! and I just wanna say that I really like how the series is handling Yuki. A lot of series put little to no focus on an ex or a person who has died and if they do they usually put a negative light on the person like they were bad or wrong in some way, but this series doesn’t do that. It clearly says the Yuki was a fantastic person he was full of curiousity and even in this chapter it said that perhaps the day he died he didn’t mean too he just went a little too far, he was a passionate individual who was so talented (even uenoyama said/thought so after hearing the track) and he really loved mafuyu. No he wasn’t perfect and their relationship wasn’t perfect, but honestly what person/relationship is? The issue was that they didn’t know how to deal with it not being being perfect and thats why it went so badly in the end. It wasn’t anything where Yuki or Mafuyu had done something drastically wrong they were just both incredible passionate individuals who were so used to being a unit that they didn’t know how to function when they became the individuals that they are. I can only imagine the magical person and the things that he could accomplish if Yuki hadn’t died. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, Yuki is a fantastic character and I love how the manga and I guess the anime (It’s not perfect really it kinda frustrates me how he’s treated in the anime) present Yuki as a character who is a continued driving force in the lives of just about all of the living characters, he is as much a part of the cast as Ugetsu is perhaps even more so, and that means something, so I like it guys, its beautiful and deep and meaningful.
