GITAM University, previously known as GITAM College of Engineering, Visakhapatnam, is an esteemed educational institution that was established in 1980. It later obtained the status of a Deemed University in 2007 and is now recognized as GITAM University Visakhapatnam. The university has three campuses located in Visakhapatnam, Hyderabad, and Bangalore. GITAM University is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with an "A" grade and is also recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC).
