The one thing I've learned since the new presidency is how ugly people can be. Its always been around, but seeing it is just mortifying and mostly sad. Makes America not look Great at all. Truthfully some people want to watch the world burn, others truthfully want to live in peace. Our Pursuit of Happiness cannot be denied or taken away, our Liberty cannot be denied or taken away, OUR LIFE cannot be denied or taken away. 241 years ago today a new nation was created to live by these UNALIENABLE RIGHTS. We declared we can be our own country. We influenced a way of life for other countries. And what is happening now is a bunch of bullshit. Overall, the documents, laws, or government that tell us how we should live our lives dont mean a damn thing. Its the people. Im too nice is what I've always been told. Kindness is probably the only good thing we have left to offer each other. People of all types are trying harder than ever out there under these new circumstances, to protect each other and stand up for one another when we are too afraid to do so. I like to believe that there are more of us out there UNITED of different backgrounds, ethnicities, sexual preference, etc. than there are racist, homophobic, ignorant people.
