An uneventful day, which Billy was always fine with. Going back and forth between cities for different opportunities, it was nice to have a day here and there of absolutely nothing. So, he was just on his couch, playing a video game meaning to be broken into; a day like today was perfect to make a dent into it.

His phone buzzed on the coffee table in front of him, and while barely looking, he clicked the text that came through. Once his eyes landed back down to look, he was immediately taken aback at the nude that was now taking up the screen. Seeing who it was from, this had to be an accident, but of course, he just had to be menace in response.

Billy honestly hadn't expected the guy to rush him like that. Sure, he wasn't the most popular guy in Eastview, but like come on? Billy hadn't even sassed him that much. Okay, some, but he had to know kicking out the guy in eyeliner for being the guy in eyeliner would get himself sassed. He rubbed his jaw from the pain, ready to say something—

but the guy was on the ground now.

"What the-oh my g-d!?" Billy protested. "I didn't even see you there."

"Tommy--" Too slow. Tommy has left the building -- but he was back within a heartbeat, much to Billy's exasperation. "I didn't mean --" Face, meet palm. "Thank you," he said flatly, not sure whether to laugh or groan and settling for something in between. "Please tell me you at least remembered to keep picking up my subscriptions at the comic shop. I've been texting in my orders whenever I got a chance..."

    David takes a deep, steadying breath. A hand rises to rub at his eyes. He feels a headache coming on but he’s not sure if it’s Tommy’s fault or because this sort of conversation makes him think about everything he regrets. Everything he’s ever done to cause harm and suffering. These things that weren’t entirely his fault, but he has to continue to carry. These things that might happen again because he knows himself. He knows how cruel he can be. How capable he is of forgetting how easy it is to ruin lives.

   Does Tommy know that? Does he understand the consequences people can cause? With or without the powers they have?

A bit of a wicked grin comes to the divider's face, truly not being able to help himself at the posed question from the speedster. An interesting and fun one too, since it was something that may or may not have been momentarily pondered in passing through the few interactions that he's had with the other. Hey, what could he say? The dude’s good looking and fun to talk to. The answer was obvious for Billy.

Of all the people Kate had ever been with, Tommy was proving himself to be the biggest tease of them all. Something told her he'd be proud of it, too.

      the assistant was observing  the  young  man  as  he  paced  around  the  office  and  started  to  talk  very  quickly.  karen  wasn't  able  to  scribble  anything  down,  so  she  just  looked  at  him  with  those  big  blue  eyes  and  lifted  a  hand  to  get  his  attention  back  to  her  so  she  could  speak.
